R.U.S.E. (2010) [PL] RELOADED

R.U.S.E. to gra strategiczna stworzona przez ekipę odpowiedzialną za Act of War: Direct Action, czyli studio Eugen Systems. Jej akcja przenosi nas do okresu II Wojny Światowej i umożliwia wcielenie się w przywódcę armii sześciu kluczowych państw obu stron konfliktu (Aliantów i Państw Osi). Każde z wojsk posiada własne oryginalne jednostki i możliwości. Do dyspozycji otrzymujemy naturalnie zarówno oddziały piechoty oraz pojazdy naziemne i samoloty. Najważniejszą bronią jest jednak nasz własny umysł i zmysł strategiczny. W R.U.S.E. nie liczy się więc tylko i wyłącznie przewaga technologiczna czy liczebna, ale także stosowanie przemyślanych manewrów i taktyk.

Cechą charakterystyczną produktu są niezwykle szczegółowe i duże mapy, na których przeprowadzamy wojskowe operacje. Poszczególne bitwy zakrojone są tutaj na naprawdę ogromną skalę i tylko od nas zależy czy chcemy w danym momencie dowodzić całością wojsk czy tylko kilkoma oddziałami. Podczas kampanii dla pojedynczego gracza możemy wziąć udział w wielu znanych, historycznych potyczkach (jak chociażby w bitwie o Monte Cassino). Autorzy zastosowali wiele ciekawych i oryginalnych rozwiązań, rozwijających gatunek RTS-ów w twórczy sposób.

W uzyskaniu przewagi nad przeciwnikiem pomagają jednostki zwiadowcze oraz siatka szpiegowska zbierająca bezcenne informacje o położeniu i sile wojsk. Oprócz tego przydatne okazują się różne podstępne techniki oraz blefy. Wśród nich pojawiają się między innymi: kamuflaż, cisza radiowa, deszyfrowanie wiadomości czy odcięcie przeciwników od dostaw broni i żywności. Przykładowo użycie ciszy radiowej zapewnia niewidoczność naszych jednostek na jakiś okres czasu, a deszyfrowanie informacji pozwala poznać planowane ruchy wojsk nieprzyjaciela. Niejednokrotnie to właśnie od przebiegłości naszych poczynań zależy wynik starcia. Otrzymujemy również wpływ na produkcję jednostek oraz rozwijanie wojskowych technologii.

Tytuł wykorzystuje moc silnika graficznego IRISZOOM Engine, który oferuje bardzo rozległe pola bitew. Ważnym aspektem tej technologii jest możliwość dowolnego przybliżania i oddalania kamery, dzięki czemu akcję możemy obserwować zarówno z lotu ptaka i z bliska. Przejście pomiędzy dwiema perspektywami jest niezwykle płynne. Ciekawym dodatkiem jest też rozbudowany tryb sieciowy, przeznaczony dla maksymalnie 8 graczy. Twórcy przygotowali zarówno rozgrywkę skupiającą się na kooperacji i rywalizacji. Warto podkreśli również prosty i intuicyjny interfejs produktu, dzięki któremu obsługa kilkuset jednostek nie stanowi problemu.
